My mind and my heart are in conflict. My heart says there is no way that what happened last week happens again this week. My mind says we haven't played to our potential all year why will it start tonight. We have been off schedule for two weeks and we are playing an opponent that is confident/arrogant and wants to show the world that the ranking isn't a farce and they can beat us in Boone. If we don't show up with our minds in the right place this game could be as ugly as last week as this opponents scheme is hard to stop. We have to control the line of scrimmage, disrupt on defense, and not make mistakes (penalties and turnovers). Just not confident after last week....

Chadwell let’s McCall run tonight and App’s D struggles when the QB gets loose. If I’m Dale, I’m telling the D to sell out and hit GMc (nothing dirty/illegal) on any opening drive option play even if means giving up an early score.

Don’t have a score prediction, but wanted to point out I don’t think McCall has ever played a game in front of a hostile crowd. Last year there were hardly any crowds and all of their biggest crowds this year have been home games and even those aren’t the size of our crowds. I’ll be interested to see how he handles the added pressure of a loud and hostile crowd in Boone. Hope we show up and are a difference maker. I’ll be there.

We are the same team that beat ECU and Marshall. We just can't make mistakes, we have to open up the run game with some passing. The QB has to play smart. Our D can't get beat on the long ball and needs to play tighter on receiving in general.

None of these are mountains to overcome.

I am right there with you. People are absolutely entitled to their opinions and can voice them but I have never understood how any App fan would type out a prediction having us lose. If we played Georgia tonight I’m not delusional enough to really think we would win but I damn sure would not type out a score predicting us to lose. If I really don’t think we will win I just won’t offer up a score. Some guys want to come back later and say- “I told you”. I was pissed about the effort, play calling, execution, etc against La but I let it go. Tonight is a new opportunity and I fully expect 100% effort, better coaching and a W.

1) We weren't coming off a 4 TD loss before that game.

2) Coastal is better than Miami.

I just can't believe the team we saw was the real App. I know we'll come out pissed tonight, and I expect us to play much better. Unfortunately, I have this nagging feeling that they're just better than us. Hope I'm wrong.
