This was definitely not "just another game". If given the choice of beating Wake, Tennessee, Penn State, or the holes I would take the holes any day of the week...but I'm not buying a t-shirt to celebrate it. I'll buy a back to back to back to back SB championship shirt if App wins the conference, but not one for beating the cheats...wouldn't give them the satisfaction.

I just saw the T-shirt they’re promoting on Twitter. Nothing says small-time more than printing a T-shirt after a win when we were a 2.5 pt underdog on the road. It makes us look small.

I think the Pride, Passion, Purpose shirt is valid. It's like a game day shirt to commemorate the game.

UNC didn't sell any game day shirts from what I saw, it's no different than what we sell each game at home.

Now, if this gets outta hand and become like the "MICHIGAN WHO?" shirts, that's different. And I don't believe we should do that. But making money off a game day shirt... is always worth doing.

The way I view it beating the holes was not as big a deal as not losing to them. The last thing I would purchase, own or wear would be a t-shirt or anything else commemorating that win.

Did y’all not get the email from the bookstore? They’ve got 3 different varieties of shirts they are selling about this game. I have mixed feelings... it is definitely an important game for the program and our university, not to mention putting a lid on the superiority complex from UNC. On the other hand, I feel like it gives UNC some validation that this was our super bowl, which it 100% was not. We are the better team, and we should have won that game.

Jordan Fehr was emotional because he’s given his all for his teammates, his school and for us. This team had accomplished everything they could except a P5 win. Jordan’s from NC so of course it meant a lot. Who knows, maybe he was even told he couldn’t play at Carolina. Players deserve to be emotional and yes it was a big win, but if we want to be taken seriously then we shouldn’t be making t-shirts for beating a 2 win team from last year. A team that had lost their last 8 games to instate non-conference opponents. We’re better than that, no need to make those assholes think they are more important than they are. They were win #3 in our quest for 14.

Correct. This was a "big" game for many reasons other and beyond football. But the holes do not deserve to have ASU create a shirt in their "honor "

I know that UNC doesn't qualify as a "rival" by traditional standards since we haven't played since 1940 but they are an in-state "flag ship" program so that is effectively what they become. It's a big game because we beat a "rival" in our own state. That rival has more resources and gets the lions share of funding from the state as well as attention from the media and population. I do NOT consider it an upset when we beat a team favored by 2 points (less than the typical home field advantage).

I don't want a shirt, but someone above suggested we put Drink's response on one. That works for me....someone print up the shirts that say "We Expected To Win".

Seriously, it's no surprise that the Heels are making their excuses and claiming that they gave us the game by not executing or making mistakes. Ummmm...isn't that basically like saying "We would have won if we had only played better"? Well, DUH!!!! My only correction would be to say they would have won if only they had been the better team! The better team won the game. PERIOD!

Time to take care of Coastal. Go Apps!

If you guys will read closely I never said "their should be a t-shirt", I never said "I want to honor unc with a t-shirt" - I asked if there were any because I thought some of our fans would come up with some funny stuff - since my first post I have been arguing that this WAS A BIG GAME - some have already written it off, just like some are tired of hearing about Michigan - I say NO and NO -
I would buy a shirt that said WE EXPECTED TO WIN -

Guys, yall need to think more outside the box.

I like the suggestion of baby blue t-shirts emblazoned with "UNC - State Football Champions - Runner Up".

And, buy a gross, and give them to all your friends who think they are UNC fans. Talk about a conversation starter. That should do it.
