Never heard of the Frisco Bowl but Houston would be a great opponent.

My thoughts are we are likely in play for all bowls. I do think an App win combined with a StAte win gives us the best shot at NO! After that we could go to Mobile, Montgomery or Orlando depending on the other team selected by said bowl.

We plan to attend any of the above bowls that App gets into, except Arizona. I hope we get a new bowl venue this year. Montgomery is great, but need a change this year. If I get my Christmas wish = We get to go to Florida for the Cure Bowl as 2017 Sunbelt Champions and we beat a high quality team.

For selfish reasons I hope for anything but the Cure or Arizona bowls cause those aren't on ESPN and that's all I have access to here in Europe.

I could see the league engineering a Toledo (11-2) vs. Troy (10-2) Dollar General Bowl with App facing off against another 8-4 team like Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl. These would be two great games with the DG Bowl pairing two conference champs with local interest from Troy while giving App the bowl that most App fans want against a local opponent in Southern Miss. Everyone wins.
