As always, app state scout has some good interviews with coaches from spring practice. Ivey mentions good things about the DL and Satt praises Virgil for his play so far.

Hi Moose, thanks for the little video. Also who is Emmanuel Scott and what is his size and year, if you don't mind??

I saw Scott last year on the sidelines in street clothes but wearing the #98 jersey. It took a bit of digging but I figured out who he was. He was a teammate of LB Ed Davis at Farmville High School and is a 2015 HS grad. Appears he went to Shaw in 2015 but left and decided to walk on here. He was listed as a 6' 4" 265 DE, according to his hudl package from high school. Shaw's roster listed him at 6' 2" 270. If you look at the Coach Ivey video above you'll see #98 a couple of times. To me he looks closer to 6' 4" then the 6' 2" just based on the guys he's practicing with/against. In one scene, where Coach is yelling at Matthew McClurg (#97), he's going against Scott and McClurg is listed at 6' 5". Scott looks to be pretty close to the same height.

Anyway, that's the skinny. As to the year I'm guessing he'll be listed as a So (how's he's listed on the .edu site) but it all depends on what happened at Shaw. If he never made it to the season (and there aren't any stats listed) then he could be a Rs Fr but we won't know for sure until they finally get him listed. I have all his info, including his hudl package which I'll add below, in my notes but have been waiting for him to be actually listed before I added him to the Roster Updates thread. I'm aware of him and a couple of others that could be on the team but have yet to be listed. I check daily and will update when they get the list up to date.

Wow - Coach Woody is a little more "fiery" than I expected - Got to have at least one top coach with that demeanor!!!
