If true I'm changing my opinion of Elliot.

Why?
He is a first time head coach and needs to put together a staff that he can trust and has a proven track record. I'm sure he appreciates all App has done for him, but that does not mean hiring from App is off limits. I certainly don't want this to happen, and hope we can retain all our staff, but I don't think we can blame Elliot for trying to put together the best staff possible, or blame any of our coaches that leave for an increase in money, and possibly further their career by getting in with a new head coach.

I would change my opinion of Shawn if he did not do everything legally possible to build his program. We certainly would go after any player or coach we could to improve our program.

No I doesn't make it off limits but it would be a very last resort for me to take from my alma mater .

That makes you a good guy but not a very good head coach.

FYI- Shawn's first hire is an OL coach that was a grad assistant at SC this year.

The article read when SE was hired had CC speculating the his salary would be around 500k with 1.1 million for the assistants pool. Based on what I have seen recently, that is right around where we are at so it is not like they will be able to offer tons of money for our guys.
