Re: Two penalties...
I don't know where you sit t-dog but I'm of the opinion that yelling negatives at the game gets you nowhere because last I checked, the team and staff don't have super extra sensitive hearing. I watched the game at home and was texting with friends and several comments were made about those calls and hoped they wouldn't bite us in the ass. They did...hence the title of the post. Now again, as one poster pointed out, the offsides during the field goal was avoidable but attributed to getting a good jump and going after the ball and hoping to block kick. But 1-10 on 39 only to be pushed back to our own 45 after a personal foul...then they score...that's a momentum swing. There are a handful of guys on this board who have played college ball. I'm not one of them and I try to cut slack to players as much as possible but everyone saw the chippiness that both teams were showing and it was being scrutinized by the refs...we needed to control our emotions imop. Now, I must admit that it wasn't of course just two penalties that created this loss but I did say that they possibly gave the other team 11 points vs 3 points and that as they say, would have been the ballgame.

I hear some say that they can live with it because its part of what makes him the player he is. The foul on Saturday was senseless. It wasn't an overly aggressive play, he just shoved a guy in the back after the play. No excuse for that. Dumb is dumb, nothing else needs to be said.

Actually, you don't know that. What is "obvious" is that, whatever has been done hasn't been effective, which is unfortunate.Goapps15 wrote:BCoach is exactly right here. This has been an issue with Parker and the coaches obviously have not done anything to stop it.bcoach wrote:A misconduct/unsportsmanlike penalty is not a mistake. It is not off side,or pass interference. It is an action that you do intentionally. I will ALWAYS call that out. There is NO reason for that type of penalty. It is bone headed and selfish. It is "all about me". It continues to go on and we have that reputation. It does not need to be improved it needs to STOP.

I have to disagree. They have not done anything to stop it or it would be stopped.Yosef84 wrote:Actually, you don't know that. Good points, PBR. We should all keep those in mind.PBR1893-BEER-HAT-GUY wrote:I don't know where you sit t-dog but I'm of the opinion that yelling negatives at the game gets you nowhere because last I checked, the team and staff don't have super extra sensitive hearing.
