we have known about this game for 6 months, only two home games so far this year, been almost 3 weeks since our last game, pitiful.

While having 3000+ seats available is certainly disappointing, there are only 10 up on StubHub right now. All of them on the east side. At least those that have already pruchased are not looking to resell.

It is pathetic that we have not sold out the seats yet. We have known about this game for 6 months. It is our biggest rival and a game that likely will affect who wins the Sun Belt title.

I am sick and tired of the empty seats and all the woe is me excuses. I know people coming from Florida, Indiana and Ohio for this game. Find a way to sell this game out. I do not want any more attendance excuses.

Or?.... Is there some sort super natural power you have that will enslave folks if they don't show because of the Thursday night scheduling? Love the passion, I'll give you that and I suspect we will have a good crowd on hand.

I have talked to four different people from Hendersonville area three ga so fans and one app that are coming up Thursday and buying tickets on site. As far as I can remember there has never been a true sellout at the rock. They will make as many tickets as needed overflow. There will be a ton of people there

No but there really are not any normal excuses of the bad weather or not knowing when the game is. We have known this for 6 months. By sellout I mean actually not having any aluminum showing. We have not filled our stands in a long time for various reasons.

It will not be a good crowd in my eyes if we do not have 24,500 there. Anything less is a bad crowd. Georgia Southern set an attendance record last year for this game

GoApps15 I hear you... You're a fellow Mountaineer... So keep on keeping on with the Appstanding passion! The players and coaches keep doing what they appear to be doing very well, I suspect, these Thursday night issues become a thing of the past.

The reason so many Ga Southern fans were able to make it to the game last year is because none of their fans have jobs.

I have no doubt the app fans that can make it this Thursday will make for one heck of a showing on National TV.

I believe GaSo's attendance record dates back much farther than last year. Some on their board were talking about the attendance record being set when Erk Russell was still coaching. IIRC, it was a playoff game in about 1989 or so. Attendance was something just over 25k ... I think.

Still ... I'd love to see 30,000 in KBS again. It's been awhile.

I hope not. The Richmond game I remember was won in the last seconds by Armanti in the rain in an old crappy stadium that was torn down the next week.

Personally, I would rather see a beat down like Wofford on Halloween!!!!!!!!!! 72 - 12 sounds about right.

BTW, my wife & I are coming with two friends. Elder son (App student) will be there in the striped squad. Younger son (Gardner Webb student) will also be there. Younger son is bringing 3 friends from GW, one of whom is German (GW freshman) who has never seen a college football (US) game before. Let us not disappoint.

This should be a great game, great atmosphere, and a butt whoopin' of epic proportions!!!
