We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Visual Impact
The athletic promotions folks (I know they have their hands full....but) would serve the program well by declaring the bowl game a blackout or having everyone wear gold. I think we will have a very solid crowd. If we wear the same color it will show up better on television and for pictures which can demonstrate how well we travel. It could be useful for future bowl opportunities.
It just needs to be done early enough to get the word out.

Re: Visual Impact
I agree. We are pretty darn successful on Black Saturdays. Let's make the 19th in Montgomery one to remember.

One seating chart I saw for the game shows App on the visitors side of the field. Local corporate tickets are usually on the home size which is slightly larger. The tv cameras will be facing the App side which should give us more exposure.

If that's the case, that will be awesome! Regardless, having spent 1 season in the broadcast truck doing Tampa Suckaneers games as an intern many many years ago, I can tell you the TD and the camera guys are guys. There's a reason pretty girls make the crowd shots. App Nation bring your prettiest!!AtlantaMountaineer wrote:One seating chart I saw for the game shows App on the visitors side of the field. Re: Visual Impact
I wish the website would label this a Black Saturday, but unofficial works I guess!
Another idea to build excitement is to have pictures of folks traveling to the bowl tweeted with the same hashtag (ie #appsgobowling) and fed to the school's website (athletic or regular. The way they did that for the giving campaign was pretty effective. It can develop a lot of excitement. Using a template so everyone had the same sign tied all the tweets together.
I'm thinking about this way too much - of course this time next week I should be about 4 hours from Montgomery!
