We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. That's not really news, is it? The home-and-home was announced a couple of years ago. Just sayin'.

Re: 2013 @ Montana
My guess is we play Georgia the last week of the season. Seems to be the new SEC trend. WCU, Samford, Wofford, and GSU all playing SEC teams this week.

Re: 2013 @ Montana
Somehow I picked up on the date a few weeks ago in anticipation of a motorcycle ride out to MT for the game, if it was early enough in the schedule. Weather dependent, the plan is to ride to Alaska then back to MT for the game before returning to NC.
Alas, still more games
this year before that game becomes material.
PS Any riders want to join us, the road is open.

I was kind of hoping we would be able to open the season at home next year. We never get to do that.

I hate playing that game the last week. If we are in the running there is just too much risk.

Re: 2013 @ Montana
Agreed, it has been hard on the team not having a break this season, but we sure can use the open date before the playoffs to get well physically. Probably gives us an advantage in the playoffs. We can't afford a trip to Montana, but will start saving up to go to UGA and UM in 2014.bcoach wrote:I hate playing that game the last week. If we are in the running there is just too much risk.
PS. This weekend proves Alabama is not unbeatable. Next week = Go Cantamounts!

Re: 2013 @ Montana
I was more refering to playing the money game that last week. Ga will be tough but the Michigan game will be brutal. I don't think that will be a great way to go into the playoffs. Could be a lot of injuries.87ASUgrad wrote:Agreed, it has been hard on the team not having a break this season, but we sure can use the open date before the playoffs to get well physically. I am highly probable for that trip as well. My son and I were at the App game there in 2009. Wa-Griz is as good an atmosphere as you will find in college football at any level.ASUPATCH wrote:That date is news to me. Cant wait to visit wa-griz.philponder wrote:That's not really news, is it? What airport do you fly into for the game and how far is it from the campus?? Time to do some planning.

Flew into spokane and drove 3(?) hours the first time, took charter plane the second time direct to Missoula.SpeedkingATL wrote:What airport do you fly into for the game and how far is it from the campus?? Time to do some planning.
Re: 2013 @ Montana
I will probably look at the Yosef Club charter. It won't be cheap, but it sure is nice flying direct from PTI to Missoula. That cuts out a lot of extra logistical issues.

Hey Chip from Charlotte, you gonna get a charter plane for that game? Wilson Air is right there in Charlotte.

Re: 2013 @ Montana
Just an FYI, the games at UM and UGA are next year, 2013. I'd hate for you to plan for 2014. We had planned on going to the UM game, but will not be able to now. I hear it's a blast, and you should get onto AGS, it's run by a UM guy that came to Boone. They will take care of you.87ASUgrad wrote:Agreed, it has been hard on the team not having a break this season, but we sure can use the open date before the playoffs to get well physically. I think he meant the "other" UM that we play in 2014. Easy to forget the ones who've never beat you before.ASUMountaineer wrote:Just an FYI, the games at UM and UGA are next year, 2013. I will definitely be going to Montana next year. The Griz fans are great, looking forward to an incredible trip.
