We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Ann Arbor
great town to walk around.
I will be respectful and thankful to all Michigan fans
And i will definitely stop in to the Red Robin Bar for a drink and maybe food
5 APP fans in my group coming and 5 UM ticketholders NOT coming....lol
There will be some nerves from the UM side, they have nothing to gain unless they kick the living snot out of us..

Re: Ann Arbor
I'll say this --- I was absolutely surprised by Ann Arbor --- It is one of the coolest college towns I have ever visited --- Friday night up and down the main strip (don't remember the street name) the restaurants and bars were packed, a lot of outside tables- For the "older" crowd we ate at the Old Train Station and it was very good (of course, don't know if it still there and still good) ---

That is Main Street.

Parking or Gating? You can find parking at Pioneer, the Golf Course but they are harder to get alot of gating there. You can find parking up and down main street as people open their yards as makeshift lots, the easier walk the more expensive.

Re: Ann Arbor
I won't be making the trip this year but believe me it is well worth it and one of the best football atmospheres I've experienced. The town is very walkable, the stadium is unbelievably impressive and the fans are the friendliest I have ever encountered on a road trip.

We parked on the golf course in 2007. Not a bad walk and the Yosef Club lunch was 15yrds from our car. The lot was packed full of ASU fans.

Re: Ann Arbor
2 of us headed up overnight Thursday. Staying about 15 minutes from campus (The Inn at St. John's). Might check out the drop-in on Friday evening. Hoping to get into A.A. real early Sat. morning and check the scene out a bit. Debating the alumni tailgate option still. Looking forward to walking into the Big House and relieving the memories of being there in 07' the most however.

Re: Ann Arbor
3 of us headed up Friday. I agree with others who've mentioned being respectful of our hosts. They were quite a classy bunch as a whole in 2007. I plan on returning the favor.

Agree about the Michigan fans. Friendly and complementary before and after the game. We also parked on the golf course and it was an easy walk to the stadium and our seats.

Re: Ann Arbor
I'm driving up with three of my kids and one of their friends to back our Apps and experience the Big House. My oldest son plays varsity football and has a game on Friday night (8/29). After the game and after he showers, I'm loading them all in our SUV and driving the 11 hours to Ann Arbor! The noon kick off is making it a very tight schedule so say a prayer for us that there will not be any delays! Can't wait for the season to start. Our guys seemed pretty healthy and positive at Fanfest and I hope we are able to have a good showing and score some points at UM.

Well I guess there is some possible way that Ann Arbor is somewhere on the route from The Bahamas to GSO ---App74 wrote:My wife and I arriving early evening Thursday on the return leg of a business trip. Staying in Ann Arbor.
