The first step is getting back to a winning record in the SBC, that is a non-negotiable. Those are our "peers" and we should be winning 5 of the 8 at a minimum.

Given our OOC games in the future the floor is 7, 8 is ok, 9 is a good year.

Each year is a completely new team for everyone now.
Some would argue that if you do not win it all every year you need to fire everyone and start over.
This is hyperbole and not value added.

It will be interesting to see what JMU does if the current coach does not maintain their current standard.

A couple of knuckleheads will call for coach's heads and a couple of knuckleheads will pretend the majority of their fanbase is unreasonable.

The distribution of fire the coach, the coaches can't do any wrong, and the fans in the middle are relatively similar throughout all fanbases and the vocality of each sector is lower as you progress in the prior sentence.

You are correct. I just wonder at which level I am.

8-4 would be nice, but I can think of other things that might be better:
-A thoughtful game day entertainment plan (with a different DJ)
-Cups with ice
-Additional points of ingress/egress from KBS

Need to be at worse 2-2 in September,if not things could spiral. Better than that and we might be off to the races.

Chopped please. Pulled pork is not as good. Sliced is better than pulled. Call pulled pork what it is: shredded pork.

I will give you Texas Brisket is amazing, but that is the only thing that can be said about Texas BBQ. Fact is, they don't really do any pork all that well, including ribs. Brisket is best with a simple salt and pepper rub, heavy on the pepper usually. The problem is that pork needs more in the rub and those Texans just don't get that and stick with salt/pepper. In my eyes, pork is the center piece of any good BBQ. and if you can't do pork then you aren't much good at Q, regardless of how good the brisket is.

Someone had to throw down the gauntlet and bring up BBQ. We need some updates regarding more player signings or a new OC before this thread veers any farther off in an unfortunate direction.
