I’m not all certain as they didn’t expound upon the comment, but the fact that we were featured in the trailer is a nice start.AppBandMan wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 3:12 pmWhat does that mean exactly? Will we expect to see more media around the game feature us?

If memory serves me, it was said that App was one of 15 schools chosen to be a part of the marketing of the game, but no one was real sure what all of that entailed or would be at that time. I was told they were asked to provide lots of photos, graphics, and bio like information, which was probably all the schools in the game. Like today, I guess we will all know as it comes out. Cool stuff and Big Time for App!

Joey Jones told me that they have been sending them stuff over the last two years. He said he could remember everything. He said the Hi-Hi-Hiyikas and Play Me That Mountain Music were sent.APPChad90 wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 4:28 pmIf memory serves me, it was said that App was one of 15 schools chosen to be a part of the marketing of the game, but no one was real sure what all of that entailed or would be at that time. This is the first time that Kidd Brewer Stadium has ever been 3D scanned for a video game and honestly they absolutely nailed it. The hill behind the scoreboard is a little rough but overall I'm blown away by the accuracy. Even down to the stairs that enter onto the field from the stands with the little brick parts with the black A, and the Welcome to the Rock banners and signs, our Bowl wins banners, the correct fonts and graphics, the fences, trees, scoreboard, new field house, and just everything. This looks incredible.
Also, this release trailer has over 1,000,000 views in the first 7 hours and is currently the #1 Trending Video on all of YouTube. Lots of eyeballs seeing App State get represented.

I cannot believe the two four year universities I have attended are playing each other in the marketing. I am not sure I am not living in some sort of simulation... of a real life.

Looks amazing. I studied every detail. Anyone else notice in the trailer that he starts returning the kick going towards the Hill, and then he's returning it going to the NEZ, and then the video goes back to him running to the NEZ. Too bad my video game days are likely long behind me. Looks awesome. Anyone who ends up getting it, run a replay and zoom the camera out...will be interested to see how they render Howard's Knob, downtown Boone, etc.

This trailer made me wonder…do we have a deal with Wyoming to come play in Boone in the future? Wasn’t sure if the original deal for last season was a one-time deal or a home and home.

I'd give them $10 to put my face on a person in the stands, but only if my body holds up my middle fingers when we play the stink.

Hopefully EA Sports is/has loaded up on uniform combinations. That was always a cool feature with the previous games.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 5:35 pmJoey Jones told me that they have been sending them stuff over the last two years. If you look closely you’ll see one of their fans eating out of the dumpster in the background of our kickoff return.

Genuinely, we should play Wyoming every year. Alternating sites. I had an absolute blast in Laradise.

Re: New EA Sports NCAAF Release Trailer Features App St
It would be fun for fans for App to play Boise St., Wyoming, Fresno (would not stay in Fresno), San Diego St.,etc. as it provides a vacation in addition to the game. However, the cost for the team may not allow that to happen I would think.

Totally agree re going out West....since the kids were born, we can't travel overseas as much; so for our anniversary we were going to New Mexico...but that was during the fires, so we had to change it, and we ended up going to Jackson, Wyoming instead. And loved it, so much so that we went back for the App/Wyo game last year. We stayed in Fort Collins and day tripped several places. Went out to Las Vegas a few months ago for a conference....going out west is our newest traveling joy.

They came to Boone on 2015(I think). Last year was our return game. It got pushed back from the original date.

Thanks for this info. I guess that was one of the home games I had to miss. Watched the game on TV last year and heard good things about the Laramie area from folks who went.
