He and Torrey are their big weapons so this is a big loss for them.ah59396 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:00 pmDarden opted out 6 hours agoAppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 7:12 pmI saw their scores and figured we should be favored then but have not seen them. The WR is Darden and their RB Torrey is suppose to be pretty good. It will be interesting to see how Darden does with Jean-Charles and Jolly.Appmountaineers19 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 7:04 pmThey lost to Charlotte 49-21. They do have a stud WR

Would love to take my son (who just got accepted for next year). We shall see. What exactly is a trap bowl game? Wouldn’t there need to be a perceived harder opponent the following week for this to be a trap game?appstate77 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 7:47 pmN Texas is 112th in Sagarin and 115th in S and P
We are 60th in Sagarin and 26th in S and P.
I'm guessing an early line would be maybe App -20.
Could be a trap Bowl Game. Our guys will need to be pumped.
And, yes, I want to go. I live near MB, have seen two losses in person this season. I want to see a Bowl win.

I’m declining to play a team with a losing record on a teal field

Trap game is the Bowl season would be an opponent that can't spark enthusiasm and thus a lack of motivation to execute.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 9:19 pmWould love to take my son (who just got accepted for next year). Re: 247 say APP to play in MB Bowl
I want us to have our best game of the season, but I am very surprised at the opponent. I never saw it mentioned as a potential matchup in any bowl projections, nor did I see North Texas listed for any bowl games. Did some MAC teams and/or Conference USA teams with winning records opt out of bowls?

They could present a challenge to our defense as they average 500+ yards a game. Of course, it could be a field day for our offense.

Garrison, who was injured and didn't play Saturday, is done. Not sure if he is capable of playing anyway, but his career is finished as he enters med school.
