The SEC or ACC would have to not have a bowl eligible team for the slot and even then isn't the AAC next in line? I agree with you it would make sense but they will not tear up the contract because I doubt the AAC or SEC would just give up that slot for us.

I'm responding because for me to believe that they have changed course I want to hear the facts that show we are going a different route. I could not imagine anyone in the ACC being stoked about playing us. I would think the ACC would want to put a fork in that happening.

Oh I just love giving folks a hard time who are just spreading a rumor written without hard facts. LOL. Seriously though, don't you think if someone is going to post something that contradicts everything that is written in stone that we need to be given evidence and not rumor of it? This is one time I will be glad to be wrong and they have something in the works. The Belk Bowl would be a much better situation for us.

I have not seen evidence that the Belk Bowl thing is real other than a few tweets of folks saying it is possible. They could be saying it because the idea was brought up behind the scenes but that does not guarantee that it is true.

And that BeatETSU thing is old. We need to respect ALL opponents every week. Anything can happen on any given Saturday. If anyone here does not know that then they must not have seen this great game in 2007 when we played Michigan. Watch it and learn that you must respect all opponents. We should expect to beat certain teams by a large margin but that does not mean it is a guarantee. That is why you play the game.
