"The Yosef Club, Appalachian State University athletics’ fundraising arm, generated an all-time record of $3,227,769 in annual giving during the 2015-16 fiscal year, Athletics Director Doug Gillin announced July 25.

A total of $4,786,027 in overall support was raised — increasing last year’s figure by 22 percent, ASU said."

That's good news. It still puts us below full funding for all of the athletic scholarships. Good to see we're making strides!

And by full funding, is that for scholarships only or does it also include COA?

We hit a goal but, I am in sales...so nothing matters until you hit the Stretch Goal!! Keep giving until it hurts...then give just little bit more! I have the same question. I wonder if corportate dollars is what makes up the $1.5 million difference between the $4.7 and $3.2 number? Last year annual giving was right at $3.0 so just a $225k increase. If my math is correct, then the comprable in 2015 to this years $4.7 was approximately $3.9 million, an $800k increase.

I believe the full funding figure for scholarships alone is just north of $5,000,000, though I'm not 100% sure on that.

If I'm remembering correctly, the $3,227,769 in annual giving would generally reflect cash donations and cash pledges. The $4,786,027 would include all funds raised including in-kind corporate donations.
