Yosef Club breaks record...again

"The Yosef Club, Appalachian State University athletics’ fundraising arm, generated an all-time record of $3,227,769 in annual giving during the 2015-16 fiscal year, Athletics Director Doug Gillin announced July 25.

A total of $4,786,027 in overall support was raised — increasing last year’s figure by 22 percent, ASU said."

I have the same question. I wonder if corportate dollars is what makes up the $1.5 million difference between the $4.7 and $3.2 number? Last year annual giving was right at $3.0 so just a $225k increase. If my math is correct, then the comprable in 2015 to this years $4.7 was approximately $3.9 million, an $800k increase.

I believe the full funding figure for scholarships alone is just north of $5,000,000, though I'm not 100% sure on that.

If I'm remembering correctly, the $3,227,769 in annual giving would generally reflect cash donations and cash pledges. The $4,786,027 would include all funds raised including in-kind corporate donations.
