We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. App State's sports film crew among best

By BRANT WILKERSON NEW Winston-Salem Journal

BOONE — Ronald Blair had a great relationship with coaches and fell in love with the Appalachian State campus during his recruiting process, but it wasn’t until he watched a short film that he was persuaded to give his commitment to the Mountaineers.

“Really, the real nail in the coffin that got me here, they showed a highlight video of all the past Appalachian teams. It sent chills down my spine,” Blair said. “That’s what made me come here.”

Those films — those goosebumps — start in a windowless office in the fourth floor of the Appalachian Athletics Center with... http://www.journalnow.com/sports/asu/fo ... 594e6.html

The production guys are always very talented and they learn their craft in our top-notch Electronic Media Broadcasting department.

As a video staff alumnus (merely a sideline cameraman) I can say with confidence that it all started with this man:

If you think the videos they release online are great, the video they show to the crowd at the signing day banquet in February is on a different level of existence. It's incredible how talented this crew is and we are extremely fortunate to have them.

The video shown to recruits is quite good. They showed us that at Football 201. They also insisted that none of us video the video.
