BOONE — Ronald Blair had a great relationship with coaches and fell in love with the Appalachian State campus during his recruiting process, but it wasn’t until he watched a short film that he was persuaded to give his commitment to the Mountaineers.

“Really, the real nail in the coffin that got me here, they showed a highlight video of all the past Appalachian teams. It sent chills down my spine,” Blair said. “That’s what made me come here.”

The production guys are always very talented and they learn their craft in our top-notch Electronic Media Broadcasting department.

If you think the videos they release online are great, the video they show to the crowd at the signing day banquet in February is on a different level of existence. It's incredible how talented this crew is and we are extremely fortunate to have them.

The video shown to recruits is quite good. They showed us that at Football 201. They also insisted that none of us video the video.
