It is important for all of us to keep pounding this topic, especially us guys ... It was August of 1999 we "dropped" our daughter off for her freshman year at APP - As all Dads (and Moms as well) I was concerned about her safety - Thankfully, she made it through APP ok - You guys who have daughters in high school or college now are facing much more than my group as we didn't have all the "social" media in the late 90s / early 2000s to deal with HOWEVER, there is much more attention being paid to this problem - We have seen 3 "untouchable" men taken down over the last couple of years (Cosby, Ailes, O'Reilly) and there will be more - Keep up the fight !!!

Amen brother ! I am father of two daughters both eyeing college. This is where we will see if your values and morals we've tried to instill will work.

I hate to say it but it's the young men we need to be talking to more so than girls. Respect, knowing "no" means no and speaking up or taking
action when you see or hear something wrong.

Absolutely true. We do also have to be able to talk to the girls about protecting themselves by their actions with out being labeled as blaming it on them. In other words if a male rapes or sexually harasses then it is him not the victim. BUT please ladies be careful of the situations you put yourself in. Stay in at least pairs whenever possible and watch your drinking because predators will continue to be out there.
