Not saying that is happens a lot, but Spring '93: Spring Break was extended to two weeks that year due to major snow storm that cover Boone/area with 40"+... A bunch of kids got stuck in the snow wearing shorts coming back from the beach that year. I still remember losing my roommates white Celica for a week in the snow...
