We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Survey about Racial Diversity in Major Frats/Sororities
This survey is absolutely incredibly biased. I'm a current student in greek life and I refuse to answer it. It asks if I've ever seen any discrimination in greek life, which I haven't. Yet it gives no options for me to list off the diversity in my organization. I won't say which organization I'm in, but it's one of the classical "white" fraternities but I have multiple African American, Hispanic and gay brothers at this point. And I'm damn proud to call every single one of them my brother. There's nothing exclusive about it, we give bids to people that we think will contribute and be good brothers.

From an undergrad survey about frats/sororities to "America, love it or leave it" territory in half a dozen posts. Message boards at their finest.

Keep the discussion to the survey itself. If it veers much further off, it will be closed.

Ok I went back and looked at the November posts to refresh myself. Did something come out that I'm missing? Was the survey ever done?

The original post indicted this was "research" for an intro class at Appalachian. I'm sure they turned it in already.
Hopefully the professor informed them how outcome-aimed those questions are and the fact that demo stats are quantitative, so a survey is a stupid way to gather that info.
