We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

That's great! Loyalty is an awesome thing, and local stores depend on it. With that said, I don't think anyone said Barefoot was "better," but they certainly said it was "different."

I'm not going to tell anyone where they should spend their money, and I happen to think App fans can continue to support all of these stores.

In many cases it is impossible to buy local since most of those businesses were forced to close by the big box stores. Some downplay the impact of these giant stores on local economies but I've seen it first hand. My home town is a shadow of what it once was. I also made my living selling to small business owners and watched them drop like flies the past twenty years. All because of giant chain stores. More jobs are lost by the closure of small businesses than are replaced by the big chain who forced them out. Profits pumped back into the economy by a local business are now sent off to other cities.
Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

True but I'd hardly call Campus Outfitters a big box store, I think they have 12 stores in total. If they can put the local businesses out of business selling cheaper chinese crap then the chinese crap local places sell it because they have better designs, etc not just because they're cheaper. Also how they support APP is still left unseen.

I think it will be the other way around actually, I think they'll find it hard to stay in business once the FB season is over. I didn't see a huge number of people buying.

But to each their own, that's why competition is good, no one has to shop there or do without.

Mountaineer Mania has always held a special place for us because it was one of the first stores that saw a market in selling APP stuff. If I'm right they came up with the first non "hick" Yosef. Sunday we spent more there than anywhere, but like I said before they had mostly the same items as last year.
