SBC 2-0 on the season.

Just finished watching it as it was a lot more interesting than that Texas A&M beatdown of the Gamecocks
ULM has a very solid defense and good pass rush.

ULM's defense looked solid. Wake isn't very good, but ULM dominated them at the line. I hope our secondary is ready the SBC has some serious talent at WR.

Nice win(s) for the Belt. This will be us beating Wake in the near future.

Any win over a P5 team is a good one.
In other App opponent news, Campbell lost to UNCC 33-9. We better win that one by at least 40.

They were only down 3-6 at the half. It should have been 9-6 Campbell if not for two missed field goals.
We should aim to win by 50.

Their fans were upset when it was 6-3 at halftime. Looks like Campbell's first string may give us a challenge.

Good win for the Belt. Any win over a P5 is good for the conference. That said, I thought both teams looked really bad. It was difficult to watch. UL-M's defense did look good, but I think we'll have to wait for them to play another game or two to see if they are really solid or if Wake is just that bad.

agree - I watched the first half and it was tough to watch - I think WF is really bad - ULM is big and I thought their big RB was a horse, not real impressed with the QB who transferred from NCSU but again I just watched the first half ---

7 of ULM's points were a pick 6. Great play by the DB.

Will they actually schedule you guys or will they think they're too good to play App on the mountain?

App and Wake series makes too much sense. Low travel cost, players will not miss class, best chance of sell out, and local businesses on game day very busy because of larger crowds. It is so simple and logical. That is my 2 cents worth.

ULM's defense was ok. Wake's oline might be the worst in P5/BCS conference history. They were atrocious. True freshman qb, Wolford, was running for his life. Couldn't open a hole for the rb at all. Then the wr's couldn't get open, or catch the ball with any regularity.
Wake's def is better than average, but they wore down from being on the field all night. ULM is an average team. App can beat them.

We've been promised an ACC team at the Rock. We have an old rivalry with WF. We're <2 hours apart. We have joint academic programs.
If I were a betting man...

I agree and was at first going to say 50, but I decided not to get greedy.

Yeah, our QB apparently didn't play well last night. I didn't get to see the game though.
QB should be a huge concern for the coaching staff.
We had Riley Ferguson fall into our laps and we passed on him. He couldn't play this year anyway, but I'd sure like to have a 4* guy on the roster for next year.

Ferguson would have been a decent get for you guys, but he was a highly touted recruit who couldn't crack the three deep for the Vols (a team desperate for a strong QB). With all of the football talent in/around Charlotte, you guys will land some good QB's that other conferences pass on.

Wake is now the not-so-proud owner of an 0 - 2 record against ULM; having lost to the Warhawks in W-S last season. Now, they return to W-S from Mosquitoville nursing both injuries and mosquito bite whelps. They'll remember this trip with some extra pain and discomfort for a couple of extra weeks.
I noticed rain held the ULM crowd to a disappointing 21,003. So, ULM fans are wimps. Can't wait 'til they have to play in KBS in snow and sleet, 20 degree temps with a 40 MPH wind in their faces!

After getting swept in a home and home with ULM, thinking they're too good shouldn't be a factor; plus, they need only remember why they stopped playing us in the first place- We were beating them at their place.
