They are already down 3-0 in the Georgia Dome. Appears to be very poor attendance. Cobb just did a promo piece.

Attendance is terrible.

I don't think AC is a very good FCS team they are now only down 1 GA St.'s secondary is suspect, especially their safeties.

Charlie's administration was great at promotion here, but he's got his work cut out for him. I lived in Atlanta a few years back. That town couldn't care less about Georgia St. The interest in them in Atlanta makes the city of Charlotte look rabid about UNCC.

The city of Atlanta doesn't care about GA Tech.

GA St. Better hope this AC team is legit their WRs are eating GA St.'s DB up.

GaST vs WCU. Who wins?

I have watched a few minutes in the 3rd quarter. Wow, not a good team.

They have some talent, but losing is like the shanks. It gets in your head and affects your whole attitude.

Not a good showing at all for them. Abilene Christian is not a very good FCS team and they have taken it to them the last few quarters.

Georgia State looks absolutely terrible. I looked up "Panther" on Google. This is what Wikipedia told me:

The cougar (Puma concolor), also known as the mountain lion, puma, panther, painter, mountain cat,[3] or catamount.

Yep. I totally believe the word Panther is synonymous with Catamount.

Can't wait to see Charlie Cobb's plan to acquire Turner Field for Georgia State Panther Football!

GSU about to lose to an FCS transitional.

We've kind of danced around it at times on this board because you're not supposed to say anything bad about the Sun Belt, but the bottom third or so of the league is absolutely terrible. Georgia State would get absolutely rolled by probably half the SoCon. Needless to say, we better do the same if we are going to have a decent season.

[ETA: Not over yet. GSU trying to come back late.]

Nice comeback in the last 5 minutes. GSU snaps a 16-game losing streak.

They are transitional FCS so basically a DIV 2 team so GSU is really worse than they looked tonight.

I'm pretty sure both Samford and Chatty beat them last year so that's a fairly accurate statement on some top level SoCon teams beating them.

They needed that win badly. When you lose 16 straight, losing becomes routine. A win, especially like that, is a major confidence booster.

Georgia State was a decent team last year down the stretch. Took Arkansas State and UL-Lafayette to the end.

Trent Miles is a good coach. Inherited a bad situation and last year was the purge of the riff-raff. They'll be a much better team on November 1st.
