They Got PAID For THIS?

I'm sure some of you have seen this already but I can't believe a professional consulting group really came up with this. I'm underemployed and broke. They should have given me 10% of the money I'll bet they paid this group and I could have come up with a better name. What a freaking joke.

It will be called The Verizon(or some such) College Football Playoff when they need a few more million.

I think I might want to rethink my statement that I could come up with a better name. At least I've fixed it before many people saw it but they can still see it in fish's post.

Isn't the NCAA Basketball Championship simply that? Sure we call it March Madness... but that was a nickname it earned and eventually everyone calls it by that.
Not to be too much of a devil's advocate.. but it'll probably happen in the same way here...

Veg...I agree with your point and I'm sure it will wind up with some nickname but the reason I posted this was because I don't think the NCAA hired anyone to come up with "NCAA Basketball Championship". Reading the stories you see that the PTB's of the "BCS" actually paid a consulting group to come up with a name and this is what they came up with. I believe a group of little kids could have come up with College Football Playoff. I would guess the bosses in that consulting group are having a few bottles of the good stuff today. And a good laugh
