It was also a Thursday night.asu66 wrote:Wake is now the not-so-proud owner of an 0 - 2 record against ULM; having lost to the Warhawks in W-S last season. I noticed rain held the ULM crowd to a disappointing 21,003. So, ULM fans are wimps. Can't wait 'til they have to play in KBS in snow and sleet, 20 degree temps with a 40 MPH wind in their faces!

OK, I'll yield to the Senator from VA on the Thursday night issue. Good point. I know we'll face that same issue down the road.

Re: ULM defeats Wake
I don't think would be an issue for App if the Thursday opponent was Wake (or any ACC team for that matter). I would have thought a better crowd for UL-M because it was an ACC school coming to their place. I do remember they said it had poured rain an hour before kickoff so I do understand the forecast could have been a knick.

No doubt, Wake would bring a ton more to Boone.YesAppCan wrote:I don't think would be an issue for App if the Thursday opponent was Wake (or any ACC team for that matter). At many schools, a weeknight national TV game is considered a showcase that brings out more fans, not keeps them away.hapapp wrote:It was also a Thursday night.asu66 wrote:Wake is now the not-so-proud owner of an 0 - 2 record against ULM; having lost to the Warhawks in W-S last season.
