Didn't see that coming. I wonder if there is a scandal.

Oh yes, big scandal over alleged cover-up of sexual assaults by players. Didn't see it coming this quickly either, though.

Huge scandal. Just yesterday here in Texas they were reporting that the President of the University, Ken Starr, would be fired as well. They are backing off that report some now. They may give Ken the honorary title of Chancellor and hire a new President.

Kind of ironic that Ken Starr, of fame for being the special prosecutor during Bill Clinton's sexual dalliances while in office, could be fired for failing to follow through on sexual assault investigations. Karma, while it may take a long time, can really hit you hard.

Hate to say it but when a program goes from pretty crappy (Baylor and Ole Miss) to all of a sudden pretty good, to then really good with (all of a sudden) big time recruits signing at said programs I tend to say... hmmmmm. I really try not to be skeptical and really want every program to be on the up and up but when programs like this make leaps upward there tends to be looming problems. It is beyond sad that the problems at Baylor include sexual assault because there could be innocent victims involved. We all know that at every major program there are always heads turning away from crap but stuff like this is unbelievable.

I would not touch that job with a ten foot pole. You think they would have learned from their basketball program back in 2000s but no they did not.

That's going to be a risky job to take until it's clear what action, if any, the NCAA will take. The Baylor basketball sanctions were some of the harshest handed out since SMU, and they aren't a traditional power that can count on just bouncing back once they're in the clear.

That's the same coach / scandal that is impacting ULL in our conference.

Looks like the big donors are pushing back and Briles firing may turn into a 1 year suspension.

And it looks like the big donors just threw a match into the dumpster outside the athletics offices at Baylor. This is going to be a big stink pretty quickly.
