I think the head coach HAD TO KNOW what was going on. The problem, however, it that the school and the NCAA were unable to pin it on him. There was, by some "miracle," never any evidence or paper trail leading directly to the HC. If they could have laid it at his feet--the result would have been more severe. He covered his trail somehow--and nobody on his staff would rat him out. That's my belief, anyway. If I'm right, he'll cheat again. Eventually, he'll get caught. I suspect a lot of eyes will be on his every move going forward.
