UTC vs. UNH

I watched a good bit of this game - fairly evenly matched teams although I thought the Mocs were better, they gave up 3-4 huge plays defensively that killed them - the Mocs had close to 400 yards of offense in the first half --- I will say this - The UNH stadium is just about the worst excuse for a D-1 college football stadium I think I have seen - it actually looked more like an underfunded county high school stadium ---
Final - UNH 35 UTC 30

It has long amazed me at the relatively steady consistency of the UNH program over the last decade + when considering all the things working against that program, namely the small state recruiting footprint, the nature of high school football in that part of the country, the weather, and the facilities. It's been fairly impressive.

I believed I heard them say it was their 11th consecutive playoff and it will be their 11th consecutive without a title --- How in the world did Chip Kelly get from being a coordinator at UNH just like 7 years ago to being the Eagles head coach? - and with a stop at OREGON ---

Just another choke job by the Mocs. Outplayed UNH but still managed to lose.

I agree - they totally dominated the Wildcats in the first half and then in the 3rd quarter they quit doing what had been successful - Typical situation since Huesman took over there - play well enough to win but still lose games ---

I watched the game and here are a couple impressions of mine. First, ESPN didn't go to the game until after the first series was almost complete, a high school basketball game took priority. And, like previously stated the stadium was pathetic for Division I Program. It only seats 6500 and the walls/spaces in the press box area are divided by plywood. Anyway, after seeing a few things I was thinking , "damn I'm glad we moved up to FBS".

Did you see the spot on how the coaches got to the coaching box? They had to take a series of ladders and tunnels to get there.

Roger that. Also, the "visitor" side (where the cameras were pointed) was tiny and vacant. Were there permanent lights at the stadium?

They said it was only the 4th night game in UNH history so I would guess they were temporary lights.

They did show a video of their planned stadium enhancements. I looks like it will be very nice when completed over the next two years.
