A Sweet Deal...

...that Liberty is offering to their students who would like to go see the Flames play Saturday @ Villanova in the next round of the FCS Playoffs. I noticed the following posted yesterday:
"Attention Liberty University Students! Athletics is providing students with round-trip bus service, a game day ticket, and two box lunches for $5 per student. Check your e-mail inbox soon for more details on how to purchase! Sign up with your friends and cheer on the Flames as they face off against No. 6 national seed Villanova at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. The Alumni Relations tent will be on-site providing Flames fans with snacks and drinks. The buses will leave Liberty University on Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. and return to campus by 3 a.m. the following day. #GoFlames #BeatNova"
$5 for a bus ride from Lynchburg to Philly, a game ticket, and two lunches. And I read a bit ago they've already sold more tickets to this away game in Philly than they did for the away playoff game just up the road from them at JMU last weekend.
Wouldn't it be awesome if we could offer some sort of deal like this for our "most supportive" students to a few of our closer Sun Belt and OOC games. Maybe you take the Student Yosef Club and it's incentives programs to offer the top 50 (or 1 bus load) the opportunity for a road trip every few weeks of the season. I know I would've been in at these prices, regardless of the long out and back. Heck, I'd sign up for it now if Chip's bus service went full-time (and found a sponsor to subsidize - Ha!)
