Marshall

Unread post by HeffnerIV » Fri Nov 28, 2014 1:17 pm

Anyone watching this game? Marshall is down 45 to 21 with over 10 minutes left in the second quarter. Western Kentucky looks like they're playing seven-on-seven ball. Marshall has absolutely no claim to a NYD Bowl

I was just thinking that I hope our guys are taking notice of this game as a reminder to not look past an opponent. Some of it is a match-up problem, some of it is Marshall doesn't look 100 percent into the game.

The attendance and the nature of the game is really making Conference USA look bad.

You're probably right. This is the first game of theirs I've watched this season. They definitely look awful on D

I cannot beloive the scoring in this game. No defense today. 91 points already and a minute still to go in the first half. Go Hilltoppers. Not a fan, but they suck less than the Blundering Terds IMO.

I assume you're only commenting on the attendance. It will probably be about the same and we're not ranked 19.

More like 24th, but I get your point.

Do they teach tackling in CUSA? I realize that we have high scoring game in the SB but this is like watching a video game. I've seen Chinese ping pong matches with less back and forth action.

What a game! WKU wins in OT when they go for 2 after their first score.

good to see Marshall lose, means conference USA will not have a team playing on one of the bigger money games on New Years Day, which means less bowl money for their conference.

I wonder how much money WKU cost themselves, assuming CUSA splits bowl money, by beating Marshall.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Whatever their share of 6 million would have been. :D
