Louisiana-Lafayette boasts the top-scoring offense in the Sun Belt at 38 points a game
Western Kentucky has won three in a row, allowing an average of 11.3 points in those games
WKU running back Antonio Andrews is second in FBS at 147.0 rushing yards a game

Louisiana-Lafayette (3-2) at Western Kentucky (4-2)

Time/TV: 8 p.m. ET/ESPN2. Surface: Artificial.

Line: WKU by 4½. Sagarin difference: WKU by 3.67.

Synopsis: ULL puts its early Sun Belt Conference lead on the line in the first of two key Tuesday road contests. The host Hilltoppers are well on their way to bowl eligibility but hope to avoid a second conference loss. Both teams feature well-balanced offenses, so a high-scoring affair is likely.

MIDSEASON REPORT: College football's best teams, players, upcoming games

Leading the way for the Ragin' Cajuns is the veteran battery of QB Terrance Broadway and WR Jamal Robinson, who have hooked up for six scoring passes on the season. RB Alonzo Harris paces the ULL ground game. WKU will counter with RB Antonio Andrews, who is averaging a healthy 7.1 yards a carry and has nine TDs to date.

QB Brandon Doughty has a solid 67.2% completion rate with WR Willie McNeal serving as his deep threat, but he has ball security issues when under duress. On the defensive side, Cajuns LB Justin Anderson and WKU LB Xavius Boyd will be around the ball often.

Line furnished by Glantz-Culver. Jeff Sagarin's power ratings show the relative strength of teams; 3.69 points were added to the home team's rating to calculate the difference.
