ULM beating Army 17-7

Guess we are big Marshall and, *gulp* GS fans today.

Have to pull for Marshall again next week as they play coastal I guess. Just realized we only have 5 days before that Coastal game but at least we have an easy opponent compared to them.

I hope Marshall and CCU goes to five overtimes.

Thought we were supposed to "pull" for JMU - give everyone else the same loss we have -

Marshall already has 2 conference losses so their game against JMU doesn't matter...we have to beat them regardless to win the SB East.

Irrelevant for the conference titles but their losses count so that's why I say we pull for JMU to win all their games - everyone in the East has a lost to them so it makes us all even - then we win the rest of our games and we have the head-to-head with all East teams

Go Marshall, we need more bowl eligible SBC teams.

JMU winning is destroying value.

I am really getting tired of pulling for GaSo knowing that it helps us if they win. I can't promise I can continue to do that TBH.

Yeah that's kind of what I meant. If they win or lose it's irrelevant for the conference but we need them to beat teams we are battling against

How? - they've been ranked in the top 25 and probably will be again if they continue to win - Look, I have no love for JMU just want what helps APP the most

JMU can not make a bowl, if they beat other SBC teams we are less likely to fill our bowls or be a fill in.

We do need ODU to drop one however.

Honestly, at this point there is only one team I care that makes a bowl - Does it really make that big of difference if we have 5 instead of 6 teams go a bowl?

Watching a bit of SoCon and Western as nothing else is on until 3:30. They are down 24-0 at home to The Citadel who is using a third string QB, and they are scoring on the ground as a triple option team and in the air. Amazing how the paths have diverged. Well not really, but still...

Isn’t the Sun Belt somewhat limited in the number of available bowl slots? App fans travel fairly well but it’d be sad to qualify for a bowl and not get an invite because the conference has too many bowl-eligible teams.

There are typically bowls other conferences can’t fill as they don’t get to six wins. I believe we only filled four of our five last year.
