Looks like a Tar Heel superfan to me. He doesn't look like someone who will be rooting for App on Sept. 21.

I'm sure people will still defend him, like they did when he was a part of Mack Brown's recruiting event a few months ago.

At this point, I want to hear why he's cooled off on App State, because he obviously has.

I could give a rats ass about any alum who roots for another school over App. I don't listen to country music so his name means nothing to me, I just see him as one of the many misguided fools who had the privilege to attend App State but still root for other schools. Plain and Simple, he isn't a mountaineer regardless of what his degree says. Mack isn't an idiot, he knows the power of pop coulter and he his clearly playing to it, can't fault him for that. But I can fault one of our Alums, App State is first and foremost and nothing else should even come close. If he wanted to celebrate a college football win, he should have been at Kidd Brewer.

Disclosure--- I attend many UF games because I have 2 kids that attend UF and have 2 others that have graduated and moved on to careers and it is far closer than Boone. That being said, I am not a highly successful recording artist with the wherewithal to go wherever I want at whatever time I want to be there. If someone tells me that he has a child at UNC, I will be much more understanding of his actions. Again, I recognize my bias (my kids), I just don't think any team should prioritized above App State.

There are graduates of Appalachian State, and then there are Mountaineers. There is a difference.

Another reason why it would be really sweet to kick their asses on the 21st.
