New Mexico St and Idaho to date

Has anyone else noticed the start that New Mexico St and Idaho have had. New Mexico St. has been beaten soundly by Wyoming and Minnesota.
Idaho was pummeled by Fresno St. 79-13 over the weekend. Granted they are now FCS, but geez, I am glad they are both gone from the Sunbelt.

NMSU is not FCS.

NMSU had a strong final year in the Belt but they were riding a talented senior class that included a QB with a great arm and some outstanding receivers. Unfortunately they had no depth to replace them so it's back to the old status quo.

Wish we could shed Texas State, maybe trade them to Conference USA for Southern Miss, Marshall or Middle Tennessee.

He never said NMSU was FCS. The sentence that mentioned FCS was adjacent to a sentence about Idaho.

I legitimately feel bad for NMSU. They were really wanting to make the Sun Belt their home. Yeah they're way out there, but they're at least in the same latitude as a lot of the other conference schools and wanted full membership. After we cut them loose it was kind of like kicking a guy off the side of the boat and now you're watching them get drug under the waves.
