Shaedon Meadors

I went to the Illinois athletic site and see that Shaedon Meadors is injuried and will miss the entire season for the Illini. It said that he could apply for a sixth year hardship. Meadors of course was a highly prized recruit out of Duncan, SC when he came to App. He has battled injuries his entire career.

I don't feel any need to throw barbs at Meadors. He certainly helped to turn around that 2014 season for us when he pulled off that red shirt and made some circus catches. I hate that he decided to exit the way he did. Hope he heels and finishes strong.

Completely agree. Seeing what we've seen at the WR position his departure makes a whole lot more sense.
