ECU has taken a step backwards as a program after they fired Ruff. Wish I could say I felt sorry for them but I don’t

The Ruff curse!
That’s back to back seasons with a FCS loss for the Pirates. Guessing there will be “for sale” signs in Coach Mo’s yard.
Congrats to A&T! They’ve pulled the NC G5 trifecta after beating App a few years ago, UNCC last year and ECU in 2018.

It does prove a team that was down and really bad can turn it around with the right staff.

If normal things happen for us EZU will be top 25 by 2021.

Was on campus earlier this summer for a baseball tournament- they are building on to the stadium! Why?

I feel like we have the worst timing with our ooc scheduling. I predict ECU’s program will recover about a week or two before we play them.

I was just about to say, they’ll be national title contenders when we play them.

All the better for when we beat them...

I think we should drop them from our schedule and pick up a better team like Western Carolina or Elon.

After last week's results it appears the UNC-ECU game is going to be really ugly and should probably only be watched by the hardcore fans and sadists.

I don’t know ... tarholes looked really bad against a mediocre Cal team. I kind of wish Ecu would beat them lol.

It would make my weekend for ECU to beat big hyphen while we bury little hyphen.

Neither ECu nor UNC looks inspired on the field. They both have good ball player but man they just don't translate to the field. I was talking to an ECU fan at work the other day and I told him he shouldn't be mad at Scotty, he got handed a turd sandwich. I honestly feel bad for him he never had a chance and he will most likely be blamed for this recent tailspin their program is experiencing. The problem is of their own creating; their powers that be thought they were a BIG12 school (maybe baseball that's all) and that they could bring in a "better" coach than Ruff off of their "name recognition" alone. They are delusional they have no identity and they will continue to wander in the wilderness until they can figure out who they are as a program. At the end of the day I am Proud to be a Mountaineer!!!!!

They should’ve never fired Steve Logan. Skip Holtz was the only other talented coach they have had since Logan....

Maybe Montgomery is trying to do things the "right" way... Discipline, consequences for breaking rules, no off the field problems, requiring good grades, etc... all the things that seem to be in direct conflict with winning.
Just saying... There was a study a few years back that correlated that the teams with higher number of arrests had a higher winning percentage. McCartney's teams at Colorado come to mind.
