Yup looks like Dell McGee should have been given the gig.

Not to take away from the Stink's domination just saying I think if Dino and his entire staff were still there it would be different.

Upshaw needs to play WR he's a damn rocket, just can't throw nearly well enough for QB even in a TO offense.
Don't forget, GaSouthern coaching staff is gone as well. I'd say the interim staffs of a few leftover assts. is a push.

False, entire staff is there except Fritz. Both OC and DC and many assistants are headed to Tulane but not until after the bowl game, very different situation from Bowling Green.

Again, GA Southern dominated but BGSU had GAs and director of player personnel serving as position coaches.

Stink bowl. Fitting, considering how sick I felt pulling for the iggles.

Very impressive win, easily their best since moving to FBS.

I've been really surprised over the past two weeks by how delusional MAC fans seem to be. Anyone can see that the MAC is fighting a close battle with CUSA and the SBC for the status of worst G5 conference. Maybe it's B1G little-man syndrome.
MAC was the second-best G5 league this year. 7 of 13 teams went 7-5 or better, including two with 10 wins.
Be that as it may, however, they just went 0-2 against the two FBS start-up Sun Belt teams.

Bowl games are often like this. For a number of reasons, teams often show up unmotivated and/or underprepared. The results are ugly. I'm not saying this to detract from Stink's win. They brought their best and were not satisfied to hang close or play to the level of their opponent.
I can't help but remember a handful of SBC message board posters who thought that adding two FCS programs to the conference was the worst thing possible. How do you like us now?

I went to bed at halftime. It appears that GSU found a can in the locker room. They opened it up in the second half. So much for the Bowling Green being so tough argument.

I did but I doubt she even knew App was playing in town until the bar filled up. Asked me if we won before offering a Congrats but...

I just laughed and recommended she might want to try a different bar for the evening.

the coaching staff for BGU didn't have a clue how to defend the pistol, triple offense, or whatever the hell they call it. The intern HC talked before the game that one of the things he was really worried about and a key to the game was stopping GS passing game.Reallly? A team that has a total of 4 td passes all season long, and was averaging about 60 yds a game was a major concern for him. Yes, they did have a 40 yd td pass, but that was off a broken play, where the qb was about to be sacked, scrambled around, and just happened to see the receiver sitting in endzone by himself. Great win for GSU and the SBC, but BGU made it easy for GSU with their defensive scheme
