This is in the Other Schools' Athletics folder, and if they get no punishment, we will still be talking about it because it will mean that they got away with the biggest academic fraud in the history of college sport.

to me the biggest reason why I hope the Heels get nailed by the NCAA, is they have for many years, interfered with App when we have tried to improve the University. For years, Peacock complained about all the hard work the school did, ie: setting up doctoral programs, only to have at the last second the Heels place a call and have it denied by the State. Karma is a bitch and I hope they pay the price, what can I say, I'm a petty little man.

Did you type that in your baby blue PJs?

Everything UNC-CH does in any postseason will carry an asterisk for me until they are punished for one of the worst and longest NCAA violations I'm witnessed. So many legal dollars have been spent to drag this out that people are forgetting what occurred or just tired of hearing about it and now accepting that they did no wrong, sad state of affairs.

What's embarrassing is the double standard and the lack of ethics shown by the school in question.

I believe South Carolina owns the moniker Carolina, but I'll let your typo slide this time. And even those at UNC are starting to realize that UNC is going to get hit hard, so you are going to be very disappointed in the next few months as judgment day is approaching. Also, if you are not a UNC fan, then your dig at NC State is acceptable. However, no UNC fan has any ground to call any other school or their fans embarrassing. What UNC has done makes the SEC schools blush.

No, "we are acting like" every other university in North Carolina not named UNCheat. So, take off your blue and white argyle and shove it...

Feel free to see your way off of the forum post entitled "The Carolina Way" then.

This is the Big Brother institution so this has an impact on us. Beyond hating UNC there is reason for us to follow this. As others have noted sports has nothing to do with why UNC should be hated by any true Mountaineer. Maybe if they get taken down a notch or two we can grow our post graduate offerings without interference from those arrogant f***ers.

I cannot believe this thread is still going/is actually this long. It really is pathetic. Some on here have a really bad case of little brother syndrome.

Or possibly some people would like to see justice served for the biggest academic fraud in the history of college sport?

What's really pathetic is people advocating for something like this to be swept under the rug and forgotten.

Has the NCAA resolved any of this? - they are really the pathetic part of this argument, other than UNC-CHeat who ran fake classes for 20 years --- I feel until the final punishment comes down there will continue to be speculation and unfortunately for a couple of you guys, likely many more posts ---

I can see why "doggy" is part of your moniker. When it comes to UNCheat, you're very willing to bend over.

This. And for this to happen there will have to be a restructuring of the UNC Board of Governors. This has a lot to do with how every other school in this state gets treated. It should be equal representation by all schools on the Board of Governors. Arrogant doesn't begin to define them...

Apparently, the latest prong is starting to gain traction. The designation of athletes as LD and ADD. Looks like academic accommodations and drug prescriptions need to be investigated.

Good lord, I had not heard this. Just read a small snippet, 61% of FB and the WBB athletes listed as LD/ADHD while general population rate is 11%. Prescribed drugs banned by NCAA as performance enhancers and given academic accommodations. This started BTW after the heat was turned up on the fake classes so sorry to those who thought they were clean now. These people are beyond cheating, someone might have to spend time in jail over this.

Yeah, rollneers needs to define "bad". In my view, bad has already happened, and if nothing comes of it, more bad will happen.
