Yeah, but he was trying to spell "one".

How can a coaching staff allow graffiti to happen right in front of them and do nothing to stop it? The only thing to him that is regrettable is that this got into the public. If it were truly regrettable, someone would have stopped it while they were doing it, and the culprits would be made to clean it up before the team leaves the locker room.
Who carried spray paint anyway? Makes me think this was planned all along. What a disgrace to sportsmanship. I hope no kids are looking to this team as inspiration.
It would be next to impossible to clean up spray paint on the carpet and more than likely the walls will have to be re-painted.

Can the other UNC System schools sue the hell out of Chapel Hell? This school gets to be more and more ridiculous with each passing day.

I doubt their administration will utilize taxpayer funds with all the eyes upon them. You know there are Wolf Pack fans combing through the financials as we speak.

Gonzo, good question! It's probably coming out of App's, ECU's and UNCC's budget!!!

On a serious note, they have to know that folks will be requesting FOI on all the financials and I'd venture to guess that NCSU fans have already started. I've been wrong before (shocker!) but I think the new UNC Administration will play this straight and utilize funds (donations/revenue) accordingly.

As opposed to paying for it how about they go back over there and re paint the walls and assist the carpet layers themselves. You know a little bit of community service could go a long way. If I went and spray painted all over someones property I would be sitting in a jail cell. They get to do it and allow some big donor to pay it off to make it go away. If fedora had a sack he would drive a team bus over there with paint and make them right the wrong. What lesson does it teach these kids that they can do whatever they want and money will make it go away.

I certainly hope that qualified individuals are looking through every single transaction with a fine-tooth comb, to make sure that everything is above board. I have no doubt that NCSU, and to a lesser extent, Duke, fans are doing this as we type. Oversight is something that UNC has been lacking for at least 20 years, it's sad that it takes other schools to do it for them.
Give 'em hell!

That's what's going on with this compliance thing, I'm afraid.

Right, but tax dollars were used to fund these students "education." Tax dollars also funded the salaries of the enablers/cheaters.

True tax dollars did fun the salaries of the enablers but the students' "education" should have been covered by the Rams Club.

Perhaps, though the fact that those classes existed and were provided were by tax dollars.

The tuition and fees paid by students or the Ram's Club do not cover all the costs of college expenses as the State pays additional money matching the fees.

Gotta hand it to the Butler bulldogs, beating UNC and actually attending class must be mighty tough when the opponents does't have to.
