Browns placed WR Armanti Edwards (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Former Panthers offensive coordinator turned Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski gave Edwards a second chance at glory, but it ends with a thud. LOL! I was a Brown's fan for about the same length of time.

Has no one heard anything at all about AE at all since he was released ?

Is he working out, updating his resume, working construction or what? I'm not a twitter guy but I can't find even a twitter update from him since he tweeted he as going to an ASU game sometime last year........I'm gonna guess that he is enjoying the solitude but aside from that actually I'm a bit worried about him.

AE was on Fox Charlotte's Got Game a couple of weeks ago. He said he was still working out and was planning on getting back in the NFL. He said he and his agent were in contact with several teams but unless something changed they were looking at waiting until after the draft to see which teams draft who. He wants to go to a team in need of receivers so he has a better chance to get on the field. He was asked about going to the CFL and said he had thought about it and the idea of playing QB again was on his mind but with his family it would be a last resort option and he wasn't really looking at it right now. Stay tuned is the best I can say.

god if he had only survived thru this season, he'd be a btter chance at staying with carolina...cause they have no receivers now...apparently.

they would have just let him go FA or cut him just like all the other receivers --- cutting Steve Smith is about the dumbest thing the panthers have ever done and that's saying something ---

I"m sure TB, NO or Atl will pick him up, let us pay $3 million of his salary, so he can play us two times a year.

Just saw on Linkedin that AE has founded a new company. I hope this is just a side project and not a sign that he is hanging up his cleats.
