Re: MBB at Marshall, Saturday, Feb. 24, 6 p.m. ET, ESPN2, Cam Henderson Center, 3rd Avenue, Huntington, W.V., ew, blegh
From ESPN+ - Dustin Kerns, Appalachian State Mountaineers: While Byington is getting plenty of credit for the job he's done at James Madison, it's actually Kerns' team atop the Sun Belt standings. App State owns a win over Auburn, too. Kerns has been linked to the West Virginia vacancy, and he's won...

West BY GOD Virginia is actually ALMOST HEAVEN while I think of the High Country as GOD'S Country - And you are correct that Huntington is as about as far as one can go before leaving ALMOST HEAVEN. Marshall will always have a special place in the hearts of all West Virginians which will be with all...

Re: JMU on bubble but not us?
I would bet that it is very rare for two teams to meet 3 times in a season and when it does happen I'd also bet that most of the time they split the first two. That's been said for years but I'd have to see a whole bunch of examples to even put any stock in it. As mentioned above we already handled...

Re: Free Throws
UVA beat WF and was 1 for 11 from the free throw line - not a recipe for success especially in such a low scoring game but they did win the game.

I'm not a big fan of Lunardi but all you need to do is look at NC St and Clemson last year - Clemson finished 3rd in the ACC - BEAT NCS (6th) 3 times including by 26 in the ACC tourney and NCS still got the bid over them - ???

Re: Unlimited transferring is coming
Personally I think many are overreacting - I think it will all fall into place where most schools will develop a plan which works for them -

Re: Saban
Saban also said today - as a follow-up to what he had stated in previous years - was that he could no longer promise recruits and parents that he would be there for the 3/4 years and if he asked a recruit to commit to Alabama he would commit to them but it was something he could no longer do (becaus...

Re: Saban
Didn’t want to deal with NIL and the portal. Makes some kids impossible to coach. This makes so much sense. Guy used to getting any recruit he wants and not having to worry about competing against the player he kept third string. Until there are regulations with the TP and NIL it has to be a nightm...

It was always my pipe dream that he would leave Alabama and return to WVA to win it's first national championship - don't guess that will ever happen
