Re: Clemson game thread and discussion
I may have missed this somewhere in another thread: I'm on DirectTV / ESPN+ which are feuding over price right now and are blacked out (for those of you that don't know). ACC Network is part of that same ESPN/ABC sports package, so unless they work things out this week, I'm SOL watching the game. A...

Re: Our best radio calls
In the time before App could reliably be on TV, there was no streaming other than radio (if you were lucky), listening in like this was all that made App football accessible if you couldn't be there in person. We lived in TX for almost 10 years and Jackson and Brown brought all these special moment...

Forgive me for my Risk Management background, but that looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Have you seen "suicide hill" behind the music building? Seen it? If you were a student at App and didn’t sled down suicide hill, were you really even a student at App?!  Saw a dude hit the bri...

Re: Seatbacks available for the season
I love the idea of blocking off our seats from "encroachment". Anybody use ones like these on the home side that already have the metal back? Do they push you forward enough that it makes leg room worse off?

Re: Roll Neers…wtf
I dunno, I feel like this is an area that could be better managed by the administration as part of the game day experience. I think back to games at Clemson and LSU where their cheerleaders have a megaphone and start many cheers (on TIME, and NOT when on offense /rant). There's a component of reinfo...

Re: Early, but let's do it now
Ponce making the calls on 3rd-4th and short will be the difference We were 38% on third down last year. 36% in 2021 with Ponce calling the plays. 51% in 2020 with the guy no one liked. Maybe the drop off can be attributed to the QB. We shall see. Those are really scary numbers. Hard to believe that...

Anything is possible. Faith in our system, in our guys, and in Mountaineer pride should be first. This may not be what we're accustomed to, but the meltdown on this board is embarrassing. Worse than what's on the field today. Also, still only down one score. C'mon man! Give me a break. This is an e...

Couple of monster hits by our D so far.
Late to the food party, but picking up Boonies Deep dish (new restaurant at the old Hardee's by the convocation center in Boone) at half time. Hope it lives up to the hype.

Re: Articles post UNCC
Any injuries from game 1?? Yeah, wondering about Henry Pearson TE specifically. I think it was him that had the arm injury anyway. Seemed like maybe he had a bad angle hitting the turf and then took another shot to the same arm in the 3rd quarter. Looked like his driving fingers were working in tha...
