We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Ann Arbor

I will be going with 4 others to Ann Arbor. Where are good lots to park in, that are affordable? Are most of you all in section 9 as well? Parking or Gating? You can find parking at Pioneer, the Golf Course but they are harder to get alot of gating there. You can find parking up and down main stree...

Re: Ann Arbor

I'll say this --- I was absolutely surprised by Ann Arbor --- It is one of the coolest college towns I have ever visited --- Friday night up and down the main strip (don't remember the street name) the restaurants and bars were packed, a lot of outside tables- For the "older" crowd we ate at the Ol...

Re: Fanfest

Poooo on that, the New Michigan offense is simple and the new OC will go back to Old UM football. first down RUN, Second down, RUN Third Down, Run and then UM will throw a few passes to the All american WR Well of course we are going to try and run, and against your smaller (at least in quantity) w...

Re: Fanfest

Both - but more about how Gardner is looking? --- Well I think he is still getting used to the Nuss offense, and he is jekyl and hyde. When under pressure he is still doing some bad retreats with his back to the LOS, but he is throwing it away now - which I know sounds bad but is good in comparison...

Not sure I understand? Are you asking who is winning the position, or how is Devin Gardner looking?

Re: Fanfest

Yeah, my buddy (UM grad) told me the "OL couldn't block the cast of Glee." Quite the indictment. Yeah was not a thing of beauty, of course Coach Hoke said the practice before the line and backs were good - so never can tell I guess. But UM's DC did not hold back (though obviouslly neither squ...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

Would you say the average fan at UM knows that we are no longer FCS? It seems like we are getting less respect than say the MAC schools that play Michigan on a regular basis. Maybe that has more to do with our record from last year (deservedly so), or maybe it has more to do with proving 2007 was a...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

I also learned, or read and you guys would have to tell me if true or not. FCS schools have just 63 available football scholarships, compared to 85 for FBS programs. While all 85 FBS scholarships are full rides, FCS schools often split many of theirs into quarter- and half-scholarships, to try and s...

Pride, So I went and did even more looking now that I'va had coffee. You guys were the first, like i said changed the AP Poll process, and there have been two others (that I can find) neither othem them beat an FBS team ranked high as Michigan was. 2010 James Madison beat a #13 ranked Virginia Tech ...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

Hap, Thanks had not thought about that perspective. Here is some more information from my Bama thoughts above. The Tide were ranked 22cnd when they played and lost to ULM (FCS also) . Michigan because of its loss to App State would drop from the rankings (end of the season ended up ranked 18th). He...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

One last thing, don't sleep on Kam keeping a read option this year. He too was coming of ACL surgery last year and he's in fantastic physical condition now. No, he's not AE, but look for more from him this year on that. Six, I have no doubt the option and QB designed runs will be part of the Mounta...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

"I think our fans had a mixed reaction to the news. We liked it because we realized it would bring back memories of 2007 and give us a bit of a national spotlight. But, on the other hand, we don't want the 2014 game to overshadow what we did in 2007 especially if we lose by the spread." Hap, Thanks ...

Rekdiver, Thanks, especially for the penalty! So were you guys excited when you found out you were scheduled to play Michigan again? I can tell you the Wolverine fan base for the most part was not. Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

simple....depth on the lines and our DB' s against UM passing. If Um grinds it out we will tire mid 3rd quarter. Our 07 team was confident and veteran with 5 or 6 of that team ending up in the NFL. This team is barely off the teet.... You guys are running 3-4 as i understand, from video and elsewhe...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

Thanks for the Coaching information, did not mean to pick a scab if I did...just seemed weird to me. Like I said the QB video saw I liked your guy throwing a heck of a lot better than running/option. Thanks for all the DL and OL comments, I think there will be the difference in the game - I have to ...

Re: Enemy Coming in Peace to talk Michigan and Mountaineer G

Moon, Here is coverage of the UM Spring Game - the scrimmage starts at about the hour and 2 minute mark - DG being dumb DG first throw was lat he should have scrambled or simply thrown the ball away instead lat throw pick. Trust me there was some fan swearing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PRKtZm...
