Re: App State vs Marshall Replay
Haven't watched this one all the way through so I'm not sure of the quality but App State Nation is usually pretty good

Re: Marshall Game
Not read this thread. Just going to state, Zak Thomas is a much better QB than Brice, fact!! What’s the point in this post? Didn’t realize Zac Thomas was on the bench because of Chase Brice. Agreed. Incredibly petty. Childlike post. Some people just like to go after college kids. I think it makes t...

Re: Defense...WOW!!!!!!!!!
Didn’t I see a graphic that the refs were actually from the SBC? Although I think the ACC and Belt have some shared officials. Edit: confirmed that the lead referee, Kyle Olson, is a Sun Belt ref. In non-conference games, the visiting team is responsible for the officials. I am pretty sure we had A...

Re: Miami game thread
The number one goal is to win the conference, and despite the marked improvement of the SBC, I like our chances as good as anyone’s right now. Win App! I like our chances too but I think the conference as a whole has taken a step back this year. Coastal is very good. UL is still good, but might hav...

I don't know what Miami had to do to get called for holding. Frustrating.

Re: Thoughts on ECU-the next day
So, I seem to recall mid-season, maybe 2016, that we used a 2 back set with Jalin Moore and Marcus Cox and it was effective IIRC. Noel and Peoples both in the backfield would be a beautiful intimidating thing...what do you think Coach Ponce? I heard Clark talking before the season started and he me...

Re: Thoughts on ECU-the next day
That video was one of the all time greats. I’m 63 and haven’t played any football in 45 years or so but by the end of that video, I wanted to run down on the field and hit somebody!!! Was the edit done where the block FG of Michigan merged into the blocked FG at the end of the UNC_CHeat game? I hop...

Re: Mask at BOA Stadium
With the FDA's full approval we should now remove all restrictions, and all concessions for covid. Time for the Anti-vax and Anti-max folks to put up or risk infection. If you chose not to get the vaccine and you get sick you are on your own. Pay full fare for treatment and if you miss work you don...

Re: How does ECU look?
But if that "just a game" causes us to forfeit the SunBelt Championship game that in turn causes us to miss out on a undefeated season and the NY6, that's exactly like NC State.. Work your tail off all season to get derailed by some teammates that chose to not get a safe and effective vaccine based...

Re: How does ECU look?
I don’t feel that the NC State situation is a fair comparison. Any issues, should they arise will not prevent us from playing for a National Championship. While I understand your point about vaccinations mitigating the “Potential” of a loss by forfeiture, it’s just a game. But if that "just a game"...

Re: Olympic sports too brutal to watch
Personally, I've always loved the Olympics but I'm a traditionalist. I tend to agree that things got less interesting when professionals were allowed to compete, but it did level the playing field with parts of the world that effectively had full time professional teams on an on-going basis. The bi...
