Re: Oreg St at 3:30pm - Discussion
O State is bigger and they have a really good QB...... Boise was a faster team but this will be the big rhino team of the season for us. I don't see this one ending well for us. Their QB is 6foot5 and has played some ball in his career. He's also standing behind a wall of men. Hopefully we pull som...

Re: East Tower
I'm torn on this one. I love to see the place grow and keep up to date................but........... I hear you, but I'm for it. I think there's plenty of room to upgrade that east side with minimal to no loss of what we like about KBS. People have been calling to expand KBS capacity since we first...

It's finally happening. But when? And will this plan include rounding out the north endzone with permanent seats connecting the east and west sides? https://appstatesports.com/news/2025/10/1/athletics-app-state-to-begin-advanced-planning-on-kidd-brewer-stadium-east-tower.aspx Development timelines,...

Re: Game day Operations
Do we play enough games where the lights would take on optimal effect? Starting at 3:30 and then 2:30 later in the season doesn’t create a lot of night time events. I feel like the sun sets behind the West tower at like 3pm October on. Definitely by 4ish. But, you don’t do them just for games. For ...

College of Charleston BASEBALL just installed flashing LED lights with colors.
If the kids want it, and it helps recruiting and the atmosphere...do it (it seems like 90% of programs have done this already).
If a CAA baseball team can do it, we can too.
But first, fix the dang speakers/video board.

What about a mountain west team?Seattleapp wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 3:27 pm![]()
I most certainly care if an ACC team beats us by 40. That conference is horrible. There are only a few teams that I'd be okay with beating us by 40 in the whole country.

Boise could win the ACC.

Might be some trouble in Raleigh. I've got some NC State grads telling me that AD/New Chancellor met with Doeren after their L to VT.
Apparently they've already got a list going of Coaches they will call at years end.

Re: Does culture matter anymore?
NIL killed App State football. I really hope I’m wrong, but we simply don’t have the money to keep up. I just don’t like this as an excuse to not be competitive in the Sun Belt. The gap between us and P4’s, yes. But we should compete year in and year out in the Sun Belt. GO APPS!! 1000%! I can acce...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
If we had two more quality lineman and healthy Roberts we’d have an offense that could be good enough to go 8-4 with this schedule, it’s very weak. With what we have today it’s likely a 4-8 season. Yesterday was tough. Swann had no protection and he was moving like an old man. So he had no chance t...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Agreed, we need more Cummins. This all starts with the oline and we have no depth. Ramsey was clearly playing at maybe 75% after the first quarter. A lot of grit from him last night in a brutal situation. Cummins is legit. Barnes when focused is nice. Stroman is hit or miss. Leon, Doopah, Lawson Jr...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Swann is the fifth best QB of our FBS era. His throwing mechanics are good his processing speed is below average. I saw enough of him at Vandy to know he’s good enough. But, it seems like he’s made his mind up where to go pre-snap. That’s on film. Defenses pin ears back and get after him knowing it...

Dude we shouldn’t be losing by this much to another g5 school period Boise is closer to a P4 Big 10 school than they are to us. They went toe to toe with Oregon and Penn state last season for the record. Everyone’s expectation were skewed because they had a terrible week 1 against a very good USF t...
