Some guys just want to transfer. In order to do that and continue to compete they must enter the portal. Non-athletes transfer every semester, no portal requirement for them though.

Agree on the ones we lose. Problem is we will have to go after the other guys.

G5 will become feeder program for P5 in the NIL era. I don’t think coaches look at that way. They want players that want to play. They aren’t interested in guys looking for cash. When more guys fail to land another offer this will settle down for G5 guys who haven’t proven squat.

G5 programs will be a feeder system for P5 programs. Many of our better players will take the leap for cash. NIL and portal suck especially for programs like APP.

This shows SBC is basically going to move into the top 5 spot for conferences going forward with the Pac going away. There is no reason to see us doing anything other than getting stronger in the upcoming years. This is why I don't like all the "App moving to a P4 conference" talk. Why move "up" wh...

There will be super wide gap between 2 and 3 in a few years.

With the portal and NIL looking back will be difficult going forward. The landscape has changed dramatically. If you aren’t a high recruit sign to a G5, prove your worth and chase the money. Smart thing to do.
