Re: ACC
No, I get each place has it's special part, just baffled that App looked on like a small market, but most of the Aac. Conf are small markets. App also unique in that the local area market may be smaller, but most of their alumni are in Raleigh and or Charlotte markets.

Re: ACC
Crazy thing is when these discussions come up. App not a big market etc. But then when you look at programs in the Aac Conf Usa Etc. 90% of them are crap towns. Small markets. Marshall market? Go on down the list. App is unique in that it is a destination tourist place and cool place for visiting te...

Re: A sobering reality we are going to have to face
They need to set some guardrails. How about some sort of sal cap?. The NFL has this. As it is now, the shallow/winner of a cfb champ will the fanbase that funnels the most $$ to their players for nothing.

Re: New jerseys unveiled Wednesday
Stripes are goofy. Why? Just roll with all black at home, all white on road. No retro or alt unis. Classic/ recognizable. The more alt unis you do, the more you lose your brand

Re: App Fans
Was I the only one that knew dude was gonna get it stripped on that next to last App possession? Baffled that college & Nfl players dont realize tacklers are coming to punch the ball out, every time. Still think cc guy's feet were out of bounds

Jose. Best App passing qb in recent memory?

Re: App State briefly mentioned in realignment shuffle
App is so unique in that it's a great road game for opponent fans. I mean trip to see their team play in Boone/mountains seems like a more enjoyable destination that Greenville, S Miss, Marshall etc. I know App/Boone isnt a huge city/tv market, but most of their alumni base is in Charlotte/ Raleigh ...

Late to the party for fb talk, saw lots of pages of infighting. Anyway. Hope Burger gets healthy asap, but Joey looked to be comfy and dropping bombs. Barely mention of him? Maybe I missed the link

Re: NCAA trying to get a handle on transfers
One guardrail needed is transfer anywhere, except within conference. They can pick from hundreds of schools, but within conference is ridiculous. They have insider knowledge of the program, the coaches, the playbook. Undermines competition. Rivalries.

Re: Possible transfer situations
I'm fine with the transfer portal, but wish it at least kept players from transferring within a conf. It kinda goes against the spirit of competition, rivalries etc. Not to mention insider info on the coaches, team, playbook etc. It's the wild west now. If a kid doesnt start right away, the bail. Quit

App 23 roster/depth chart
So many transfers last few days and saw they picked up a qb today. Tape looked good (all highlight videos look good), but dude can run and throw. Anyone with more knowledge than me have any guesses who might battle for qb starter next fall? Also what are strengths/weaknesses of roster with seniors l...

Re: EXPANDING STADIUM TO 40k CAPACITY
Kidd Brewer one of the best & most beautiful places to watch CFB. One thing I noticed there live & on tv in Raleigh is that turf looks terrible. It's just a few yrs old, but the black rubber looks awful 10 mins into any game. Don't love the 2 tone either. Noticed Citadel got new turf around the same...

Re: Kirk Herbstreit Cupcake Comment
Let it go. Prior to Mich game, as a 1AA prog, they prob were "viewed" as a cupcake. We all know what happened. Let it go. App fans sometimes like to go after these ppl, but it backfires. Just clap them on. Gameday is literally coming. Cheer the team. Cheer the whole Espn crew. It's awesome that they...
